| The reason why I choseto study in New Zealand was because I wasn't sure about whether to continue studying in j Japanese |
| high school in Japan. So,in the third yaer of junior high, during summer vacation, I went to Christchurch,in New |
| Zealand,for tow weeks. At that time I wasn't good at English, but I tried to talk with the Kiwi people.I tried to listen |
| to their English and my English improved a little. Also I found out that I like it there. I like that people at there and |
| everything. I thought that if I could go back, it would be a good way to improve my English and also to learn more about |
| |
My high school is St.Mary's college,Catholic school. The school has long history from more than 2oo years ago.During the |
| school time we always prays at home class at morning.If we have something special we go to church,near by our school.Also |
| we have reigion class.At there we learn about God but when the 7th form we learned different things.For example |
| funeral,pregnancy,baby e.t.c.My high school is all most every student are catholic just 10% people are non reigion or |

When international student come to St.Mary's they have to take ESOL subject.ESOL is English for Second Lungage |
| student.We learned about customes and English.This class is most ejoyment class for international because every class do |
| Kiwi girls. And we are scary to talk with them at first year.But in ESOL room every student are same level so we can talk |
| with relax. However we have had exam .We have to remenber the poem, we have to chose the book and read one passage,have to |
| presentation about interesting things.Each level have different assignment. My level is a inter-element.Also the teacher |

When I visited kindergarten this is ESOL teacher's idea to go there. Because of we talk about kidergarten in Japan. And |
| I asked to her what's like in New Zealand's kindergarten. Suddenly she said to me to go and have a look for all day. I was |
| very presed about it.She talk to school and they organate everything for me.The classify kindergaten by age go to the |
| kindgarten on the morning and afternoon in NewZealand' kindgarten. When I visited the kindgarten, the day was the one of |
| the teacher's birthday.And than the kindergarteners place the birthday party.They made cake by clay at play time.At the |
| party teachers and kindergartners are singing a song which is a Maori songs.I tried to talk with them but sometimes this |
| is hard because my lungage problem.Howevery I enjoyed at there and I had pleasant exprience,too. |

Now, after therr years of studying at St.Mary's college, I feel that my character has become stranger than before. And |
| also my English has improved remarkably for therr years. In 6th form, I join the choir and shooting club for private time |
| with my friend. Also in music class I had guiter lesson. In 7th form, I had learned the pipe organ,too.I exchange between |
| |
In the future, I would like to use this valuable experience to helpme choose a good career and become a useful member in |
| relations between Japan and New Zealand. |
